Ptfe Braid Packing - Type PF151
Characteristics
| The components of this braid give it a high thermal conductivity, resistance to chemicals and aging. The homogeneous structure allows the braid not to release its components during exercise reducing to a minimum the risk of wear on the shaft, thus avoiding that the fluid is polluted by particles detached from the braid itself. The braid is flexible, elastic, easy to cut and install. The braid is suitable to be used in various industrial sectors: its use has been shown to increase the service life many times compared to traditional braids, significantly reducing the costs of the same and maintenance costs. We can also add that the plasticity and the high flexibility of this braid simplify the installation and the dismantling of the gasket itself. |
Applications
| The PF151 braid is particularly suitable for reciprocating and centrifugal pumps. It is an excellent general purpose seal suitable for all fluids except strong oxidants. Used in the chemical, petrochemical, mining, textile, food, sugar factories, breweries, distilleries, power plants, nuclear plants, purifiers and paper mills. |
