Graphite Braid Packing - Type GR181/E
Characteristics
| Braid composed with a particular carbon yarn with micro discontinuous metal reinforcement. The impregnation takes place in three stages: first on individual yarns with graphite paste added with corrosion inhibitor, on the body of the braid and finally on the surface with particles and flakes of very fine graphite. Particularly suitable for sealing on valves and above all where it is necessary to have a high resistance over time at high temperatures, with the exception of strong oxidants. |
