Graphite Braid Packing - Type GR179
Characteristics
| Composed of graphite yarn with a high content of 99% twisted carbon and combined with several garments, it is a very flexible braid that resists stress and bending, without loss of volume and without crystallizing at high temperatures. Our high quality yarns undergo a pre-treatment in production with special dispersion graphite mixtures, with the addition of corrosion inhibitors. It does not undergo the flow of temperature, it does not lose weight and volume and is elastic. |
Applications
| Suitable for applications on valves and pumps, with all fluids, with the exception of strong oxidants, combustion gases and hot air over 450 ° C. Suitable for chemical industries, nuclear power plants, power plants, oil and water treatment industries and kettles. |
